Built between 1868 and 1869 by Gold Rush immigrant-turned-politician Enoch Pardee, the Pardee Home Museum was constructed in the Italianate style, featuring a low-pitched roof and a small overlooking tower. The home retains a sizable collection of Californian art pieces and other objects amassed from around the world by the family, and tours of the home highlight these pieces as well as the family's history. Part of the Preservation Park Historic District of Oakland, the home is close to Lafayette Square and just a mile west from the historic Camron-Stanford House.
Open Mon. - Sat. 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
