Once just one of the many magnificent Victorian homes lining Lake Merritt, the Camron-Stanford House is now the last of its kind, preserving the memory of the opulence of the wealthy in that period of time. Built in 1876, the Italianate structure demonstrates specific architectural styles, as well as exhibiting various antique furnishings and artworks. Located close to the heart of the city, the house is about a mile from the Jack London Square district and can be rented for weddings, receptions and other private group events.
Tours available on the 3rd Wed. of each month 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. and by appointment.
